I hate how everybody is paranoid of something like 9/11 happening again. Like 2 weeks ago, my girlfriend and I went to Wal-Mart to buy 3 cell phones, one for me, one for her, and one for her brother. They told us we couldn't buy multiple cell phones because of 9/11. Like seriously....
I remember taking the plane in North America 2 years ago, and they were being extremely paranoid on checking passengers before boarding. It was the whole "Not even a drop of water or a crumb of bread allowed, and the metal detectors will detect even a paperclip and if that's the case you're in for a full body check". And then I see this kid pass security with a balloon that has the shape and a drawing of a cartoon character. And it never occurred to those stupid security personnel that this balloon could had been filled with toxic/explosive gas... Not that I thought it was filled with deadly gas, but if security got so paranoid over bottles of water they should had got paranoid about that balloon too.
Okay, guys. THERE IS NO RULE AGAINST FOOD. Okay, said it once and for all. Produce usually isn't allowed flying internationally, but it is okay to bring that stuff as long as you eat it on the plane or throw it out by the time you go through customs at your destination. I've eaten plenty of soft cheeses, meats, fruits, and veggies brought from home. There's no rule against it. Really, putting aside all rules about knives, sharp objects, explosives, the only thing you really need to be careful about is liquid. And usually, if it is under 3oz, if you forget it in your bag and don't get it they don't care.
No liquids allowed. Juice from grapes is a liquid. :P
If you were flying to another country, YDI. If it was a domestic flight, FYL. Also, I agree with #126.

yeah, if you bite into those things they could squirt someone's eye out
If you pack baby carrots, will they think you are carrying ammo? Damn airport security!
