that's if you do 2 to the fifth. if you do 5 to the second,(5x5) that's 25. the first person was right

These things can happen to anyone. Sometimes when I've had to do addition for something, I'll make a mistake and do something stupid. I did Ext 1 Maths up until half way through Year 12. And even last month - I ran over our bandwidth limit because I didn't realise uploading used up bandwidth too (as well as downloading, that is) and I'm currently undertaking an IT degree. So, we all have bad days. I think, OP, just because you make an error like that even though you *are* doing a maths major - doesn't mean you're doing the wrong thing, or that it's bad - it just means you're human and, therefore, make mistakes and have bad days.
