Today, I missed points on a math quiz because I thought 2 times 5 was 20. I'm a math major. FML

You were probably tired. it happens to the best of us. I once absentmindedly asked if an airplane was 50 miles long.

Might wanna rethink your major haha jk Everyone makes mistakes, don't get all upset over this one incident.

Oh please, I have a degree in math and do stupid stuff like that too. You're probably into theoretical stuff by now, so it's easy to screw up the simple math. Just don't divide by zero!

It's okay, OP, just a minor brain fart. You mistakenly wrote down a 2 instead of a 1. It happens to the best of us. As long as you didn't fail the quiz, then don't worry about it.

its a common mistake. being a math major doesn't help you from making small errors like that

Like OMG! A math major making a mistake?! OH MY GOD, that's never happened in the history of forever! THE WORLD IS ENDING!!!!!! -_- OP, STFU. I love how you mention being a math major as if it's supposed to automatically make it impossible for you to make mistakes.

one word, four letters....yes it's......FAIL

this is understandable to people who've actually taken upper level math courses like calculus. when you start to learn algebra and calculus and differential equations, you forget the 4 simple math operators.
