If you think in base 6, you'd be close. Still wrong, but maybe close enough for partial credit. I have this nauseating feeling that you are going to end up as a schoolteacher and cause hundreds or thousands of kids to be confused about math and then hate it. You will contribute to America's march toward third-world levels of innumeracy. You wanna be a patriot? Volunteer to go teach math in China, so you can do your small part toslow down that juggernaut.

^ Mhmm. I say we send most of our math teachers over there and keep the ones who actually do their job. Maybe then the US will suck a little less at math.

I've done base 10 (obviously), base 2, base 16, and even base 8 but never base 6. (This is in order from most used to least used). Anyway if OP is in some kind of class where she has to deal with base 6 then fhl for sure.
