Today, I nervously flirted with a very cute guy. Being a little overweight, I rarely think cute guys will go for me. This line of thinking was yet again correct when he casually pulled his sleeve up revealing a tattoo of a pinup girl with a "NO FAT CHICKS" sign below it. FML

That's when you wish you had a tat saying "no douche bags allowed"

If his insides matched his outside he would be a giant buggar green slim ball with 4 eyes and 3 pinkies. (I hope this crazy statement makes you feel better) :)

I'm glad he has branded himself outwardly, so all of the skinny women he tries to date, will know he is a douche. But I'm sorry he did that to you. You people telling her to just loose weight, don't get it. Some people are naturally a little heavier and have to really suffer to keep the weight off, while others have health issues that won't allow them to loose the weight at all. Keep your chin up, OP, some men prefer women like you.

Maybe meeting you changed his shallow judgement.

yeah he's wrong for calling her fat but if she's too curvy for him wouldn't he go for a girl suited to his taste? and would she not be happier with someone who liked her the way she was as is? people are people, and we are carnal beings. its his nature to find one he likes, but he doesn't need to be such a crude ass about it.

OP here. I find it hilarious that when someone says "a little overweight," the first thought is said person must be morbidly obese. That, my friends, is not the case. I'm 145 lbs, which is "a little overweight" for my 5'4" frame. I don't usually go by BMI scales or what the doctors say; if I'm comfortable with my body at X weight then I have reached my ideal weight. I have a little fat around my mid section, not an innertube. I gained the weight after my son, Bryan, was concieved. I'm working to get the extra poundage off by hitting gyms (the cute guy in the FML I met at a local Y). To further explain the situation: I was running on the treadmill. I felt rather empowered and confident knowing I was working towards my pre-baby body. I've always been self conscious though so it took a huge amount of effort to talk to this guy, let alone even look at him. He was on the treadmill next to me and when he stopped, I stopped. I made idle conversation, commenting on his lean yet muscular build and I mentioned that is what I'm really attracted to. He then proceeded, without saying a word, to lift his sleeve up and rub the tattoo. "and THAT'S what I'm NOT attracted to!" he said before getting off his machine and moving onto weights.

No girl in her right state of mind would date a guy with a tattoo like that
