WHAT. THE. ****.
That's really horrible. I'm sorry s/he said that to you. Don't listen. Your life is worth it. I, too, struggle with depression. While it will never go away I currently have it under control so it is possible to live with depression. I was even able to get off my medication with talk therapy helping me. Please reach out to someone if you haven't already. Someone who will take you seriously, like a professional. Nothing wrong with going to talk therapy or meds if you need them. Please let us know you're ok!
I want you to try something for me. I want you to cut out all refined carbs out of your diet for a month and work out and tell me if you feel different. I eat 3 slices of pizza and for the next two days I'm suicidal depressed. Please try it out there is a link.
I can't wait to tell my friend who can't eat pizza or other gluten foods and exercises every day that his imaginary pizza makes him depressed and suicidal. Please tell us more about this.
105 you are a meanie .....
There is no link between carbs and depression, you've just fallen for the latest pseudoscience of the week, and you're spreading it like a plague.
So, you don't have a clue what a depression is, now do you?
Although I completely understand that her question was totally out of line, she may have been legitimately curious. She might have been wondering if you were so depressed, why have you not killed yourself yet. It's completely insensitive and out of line, but she may just be really oblivious. Of course, I wasn't there so I wouldn't know, maybe she was intentionally being an insensitive bitch.
So what if she was legitimately curious? Doesn't make anything better if she was.
That's actually illegal to tell someone to kill themselves
What a douchebag friend. There's plenty of community resources you can use as well as some better friends.
Apathy isn't a good response for depression. ?

That's ****** up. Please don't listen to her and seek help from someone who actually cares about your wellbeing.
I suggest you get a new supportive friend OP.
