Today, I overheard a girl and a guy sitting behind me on the bus who were talking about Skyrim, one of my favourite games. After a while, I turned around and, as a fellow gamer, thanked them for restoring my faith in humanity. They went very quiet. I'm now that weird guy on the bus. FML

I used to be that guy, then I took an arrow to the knee

Relax. You were probably that weird guy on the bus WAY before this incident.

If they were true gamers, they would have rejoiced along with you. I mean seriously, it's Skyrim, it's a bond greater then blood.

why would the fact that two people talking about skyrim restore anyone's faith in humanity? yes I am a gamer mostly WoW but meeting another person in real life that plays WoW or any other game I do/have played wouldn't restore my faith in humanity. Someone doing something good and helping out either another human or animal without asking for anything in return is what should restore faith not other people playing games.

I wonder if you were that one guy who literally started singing skyrim theme song when I mentioned skyrim to my friend. I found it funny and entertaining anyway. (Except for my friend who doesn't play games at all, was creeped out) :/

I would probably notice them talking about it, and smile inside, cause I'm socially awkward and can't confront people. :D Skyrim is my favorite game, as well.

I just rebought that game! I really like it! too bad my bf has taken it over after trying to get me to buy a different game after just one day!

How would two people talking about the game restore your faith in humanity?

Why didn't you just say something like "hey I like Skyrim too" .-.
