The old guy was obviously bitter about something.
I hope you pointed out that a large amount of the bad in this world, economically anyway, is caused by overpopulation from people living longer, these people also tend to hoard their money thus causing a stagnation as there isn't as much inheritance coming down (by the time the senile old sh1ts like him die they've spent all their money on paying for their home), inheritance being often used to kickstart the next generation's family, paying mortgages, etc... Yeah.. SNAP
You should have splashed your drink on him.
I would have ****** that old man up.
I wonder what "Your kind" the old bastard had a problem with. Was it: A) Goths B) Actors C) Assholes involved in "student film." D) Pretentious jackasses who buy $5 coffee drinks driving up the price for those who want just a simple cup o' Joe. E) Dudes wearing stage make-up offstage (when they really just want to wear make-up.) F) People who help out their friends G) All of the above
Haha! You sir = Win
O: omg bad old man. He's so paranoid. -.-
Gah, regardless of whether you are really goth or not, this would be an FYL. People are ridiculous. They don't know what you do with your time--I mean, you could spend your free time volunteering at a homeless shelter, but old farts like him wouldn't care because of your lip ring! Did they give you a new drink? When I worked at the 'bucks, we would have.
I doubt I would have had the self-control to resist throwing it in their face (or at the very least - to avoid an assault charge - pouring it on their shoe). Good on you for having some restraint. You're the nicer person. I should imagine you could have got them banned from the branch if you'd brought it up with the manager there.
I hope you at least got them to ban his ass from the shop.
what an old fart. people like him are actually what's wrong with this world, judging other based on their looks and thinking they're oh so much better. and then old people wonder why kids today don't respect them... how about showing US some respect too? if i was the OP I woulda been so pissed...
Most of my customers at my job are older people and I've given up being polite to anyone who can't be polite back. My mother taught me to say "please", "thank you", "yes/no ma'am/sir", "excuse", etc. I'm 26 and I have to wonder how the hell it is that I have more manners than people who are twice my age and more!

No, the people who mind their own business aren't the reason for bad "stuff" in the world, it's the dickheads who feel they need to irritate the people who mind their own business.
oh damn. that'd suck you shoulda turned to him and said, "don't judge what you don't know. I'm not 'this kind' of person you're talking about. this is for a school project." then chuck your $5 drink in his face
