My boyfriend didn't like the movie either, but I loved it. I would never break up with him because he has his own opinion and his taste in movies is different from mine. I think your girlfriend overreacted juuust a little bit. Sounds like you're better off single if she would dump you because you didn't like a movie, that's just crazy and so is your ex girlfriend apparently.
