Better to wait longer than 3 years anyway.
one of my friends met a guy and decided to get married within 3 months I thought it was a little too fast for that kind of commitment but they're in love and are happy so that's all that really matters. If you find the right person then you shouldn't waste time.
My parents married after about 6 months of dating/knowing each other. They've been together 27 years, happily together too. Honestly there's no sure way to know it'll work, not after 3 months or 3 years or hell even 27... people change, feelings change whatever it may be, if it feels right and both parties are on board then that's their choice
I know a couple who live together for 11 years before they got married and they thought so much that they divorced and separated. about a year later they got back together and now they're happy again but have decided that marriage and that piece of paper ruined everything. I personally am very happy with my husband of 8 years after dating for 4 months. We admittedly have known each other since first grade lol but I guess it just goes to show it takes all types and every relationship is different.
23, my parents moved in together after all of a month of knowing each other, and they're still happily married to this day, over 40 years later. I personally can't say I would be comfortable with that myself, but it does work sometimes.
By too immature, did she mean not old enough to buy her alcohol?
Dump the bitch!
Well, um, clearly something made you consider marrying her? I dunno, man ... I would recommend talking to her to see if she is one of those ones that doesn't want that, but I have a small hunch that she isn't on that mental plane yet to even have a conversation like that. I personally feel no obligation to marry anyone unless it benefits us in other ways. The true "marriage" is between the people involved, and everything else is lagniappe.
looks like you dodged a bullet buddy
Usually people discuss marriage before a proposal. I applaud your want to marry, but if she thought you came out of such left field, who knows? Try talking about marriage first so you wont blow that money on a ring! (Before knowing!)
Ex girlfriend?
Cliche comment?
Valid question or assumption. Yes.
What did she say before getting drunk?

I don't understand why people stay in relationships if they don't want it to last long time. FYL OP
You're better off OP.
