It is quite possible that she has been separated for almost a decade and just never bothered with the paperwork, for whatever reason. I know a few people in relationships who are still married to people they have not been with for years, usually due to financial reasons. One woman I know was making much more money when her and her husband were together, and they were married over 10 years and have two children. He is on disability, and if she legally divorces she will have to pay a fuckload in spousal support. She is engaged to a girl now and plans to get married, but is waiting until he remarries (he is with another woman now). It can be complicated. That being said, FYL because your girlfriend should have disclosed this information regardless of the situation she is in.

Every post i click on, I see people getting angry at the OP and trying to make them feel worthless, Just because it makes them feel better. This is supposed to be a comic wesite, not one where people try to belittle other people.
