Today, I pulled an all-nighter to finish rereading my set work for my English exam. I managed to finish earlier than expected and decided to get some sleep. I then promptly slept through my alarm and missed my exam. FML

Number one rule for a student; six alarms is still not enough alarms

That really sucks, but don't they usually let absentees make up tests after class or during lunch periods? Also try setting multiple alarms, each a few minutes after the other. Good luck OP.

For all of you college students out there.... Here's my tip. Whatever the deadline is... Start it two days before. Its kinda like cramming but a lot better.

And you know what's even better than that? Starting way before you even know when it's going to be tested.

This Is why I set multiple alarms. 5 on my phone set at a minute apart so it's harder to ignore and near my head. Then one on my alarm clock placed across the room if turn off the others while sleeping so I have to get out of bed to turn it off.

Somehow this nightmare always wakes me up minutes before the exam.

This has happened to me to many times :/

Try contacting the professor ASAP and plead your case.

well all nighters before exams really aren't good for you so you should have managed your time better... but next time if you're still in that situation try to put more alarms or something

#26, what alarm is that? Mine makes me draw shapes and random patterns. I disabled the math one cause it was taking too much brain work at 4 in the morning ?

As someone who pulls all-nighters regularly, never sleep once you have fully committed to it. Its near impossible to wake up when you are that tired.
