Today, I realised that my friend hasn't spoken to me for a week. A week ago I politely explained to her that I really don't believe in horoscopes, and asked her at the time to stop systematically using my star-sign to explain my behaviour. FML

Sorry for my english, it isn't my first language. I actually WAS polite, I said something like "I understand that horoscopes are important to you, but I really don't share the same view. So I would appreciate if you didn't mention it so often-if I am being a bitch, could you just say so and not say, "all scorpions do that"? And yeah, I'm not that sorry for losing a friend,as she apparently values her superstitions over me, I'm just pissed off, (O.P.)

Did your horoscope say that would happen?

Do the opposite of what the horoscopes say so she can stop believing too.

Some people are just like that. Sadly, it can ruin potential opportunities.

FML must've been star struck to miss this one

If you want to be friends or lovers with someone who believes in astrology, you just have to humor them. Tell your friend that an expert astrologer did your chart and said you were an "Orion."

Sometimes you just have to explain stupidity to the stupid.

I love it when people talk about stupidity and stupid people. Considering everyone complains about stupid people, does that make us all stupid?

72- Unless you believe that complaining and lacking knowledge on a certain area of intelligence are on the same level then no.

Reminds me of that little caesars commercial where the kid looks in the telescope and the moon says, "it's pizza time!"

I don't know how it reminded you of that, but now I'm remembering that commercial and I love it!

I can't help but wonder just how "polite" you were if she hasn't spoken to in a week.

"Can you ******* stop being a moron and trying to explain my behavior with those stupid ass, ill written horoscopes...please?" Is how I imagined that went.

I would of just went along with it, you may not agree but if they felt highly about it, they just wanted to share that passion with you.

Well, if she's following a very detailed star chart based on your birth information, she's probably accurately predicting things. Knowing most people are just reading their local newspaper, rather than taking up astrology for themselves though... I doubt it. FYL. x.x

Oh Gs, the believers have found their way here! Quick, everybody hide!

My day just so much better after realizing that. THANKS!

The replies and down-votes make me disappointed... ): I can do peoples' star charts for them; if you're interested, just PM me and we can work one out. They're accurate as hell, and I wouldn't be supportive of them if I had not seen evidence for their validity myself.

I would love to how that worjs considering I know twins who are complete opposites and their birth info would be the same so you have no way of differentiating to 2 based off of that. you are shaped by the life you live and the hardships you overcome. not the stars that happened to be above your head (that were actually there quite a few years ago depending in which star you are talking about) at the time of your birth. people give vague answers to this sort of thing so people who want to believe will make it fit their lives so they can continue believing. its all quite simple psychology and common sense. end rant.

I think I'll just stick with Nostradamus. He is far more accurate than any star charts ;-)
