Today, I realized I forgot to write a 5000 word essay for my English class. I tried to be calm since I had until midnight to finish, and it was only 8pm. I typed for three hours straight,and finished the assignment. I read over the instruction again, and realized it only had to be 500 words. FML

How the heck were you able to come up with a 5000 word essay and type it at 28 WPM? I'm not saying 28 WPM is fast for typing, but to do that without first knowing just what you were going to type, I wonder if the essay was even any good.

Well, sounds YDI for me. It's ok sometimes to forget to read carefully, but 500-word essay and 5000-word one are of very different magnitude. You should have realised it somehow that the work was tougher than it should have been.

WOW... You stayed calm (or so you thought) when you remembered an assignment. Then you typed 5,000 words in 3 hrs. You're gonna do fine. In school and in life. Just read the instructions more carefully from now on (but I'm deducing that you already figured that out). And use the calendar/organizer of your phone, laptop or computer more effectively to stay on top of things.

It is not fake or impossible at all. A little over ten minutes per page is not unheard of. It depends on how fast you type.

Yeah, that's around 28-29 words per minute. Hell, I was tested for certificate with 100 words per minute.

Who ever heard of a 5,000 word essay anyways? At that length, teachers/profs start talking "page lengths", not words. Unless you e-mail it, no one is gonna count 500 and especially not 5,000 words.
