All that time I'm never getting back

Today, I ended up being wasting an entire week on a very important scholarship essay because I thought the requirements said “3500 words” when in reality, they said “3500 characters”. FML
I agree, your life sucks 711
You deserved it 925

"Being wasting?" I have a feeling you're not a viable candidate for a scholarship anyways. You might have a chance if you wrote your application with 3500 emojis. 👨🏻‍🎓🧠🍔🤴🏻❤️👧🐶💩🐭🥒

Life lesson 1. Read directions carefully. My hubby is in pain because his pot card application was denied. Want to know why, because he didn’t follow the directions

You sick bastard! You want him to give the whole world cancer with all those emojis?

You dummy! You don't get cancer from emojis. You get it from 5G. 🤪🤪🤪👻🧠👻

Don't forget OP's poor use of punctuation, and their inability to discern the difference between "words" and "characters".

Um... well, if it's a longer essay, maybe it's more impressive to the people giving out the scholarships? But since when do college applications go by characters and not words?
