Good job. Well, at least it's a band member who knows how to play and not someone attempting to learn an instrument. Next time talk to some people who've lived there to know what's what.

And @ 26, It's possible that the practice rooms are off limits. That's how it is at our University. If you're not a Music Major or in wind ensemble, you are not allowed to use the practice rooms which is a pain in the ass for the rest of us who have nowhere private to practice

Ugh. That sucks. I live in the Honors Dorm at my university, and we have paper-thin walls. My neighbours play my two least favorite instruments (saxophone and trumpet) at least once a day, and one of them has picked up the flute, too. *whimper* They're both music majors, but neither is especially good. What gets to me is that our school is really big on music, so we have two practice rooms downstairs and 3 music buildings where they could go practice without bothering anyone. But they don't. Despite requests from both residents and RAs.
