If it bugs you-shave. If it doesn't- move on. Does anyone else remember when these were moderated?
Then shave instead of whine about it.
You're a truly disgusting person. Shave your damn legs.
wow its just leg hair there is a billion ppl commenting on it-let it go and shave. word of advice, dont tell people then.
i hope to god your a chick, if not something is seriously wrong with your brain. guys should never shave their legs.
thats the nastiest shit i ever heard.
Jesus Christ... is this really what society has come to? If you haven't shaved your legs, it shouldn't matter. Why is there such a social stigma? You shouldn't need to feel embarrassed at all. If you don't want to shave your legs (or any other section of your body), then don't. Anyone who tells you it's gross or unsanitary is just an ignorant jackass. So, I will agree, **** your life, because you live in a society that can't handle the natural state of the human body. Whether or not a woman shaves should be completely up to her, and not the result of society falsely telling her that it makes her gross and unclean. P.S. If you're wondering, yes I do happen to find hair on a woman to be sexy. That's my preference.
Personal aesthetics can differ. If her own aesthetics say that shaved legs are pretty and she realizes she hasn't been taking care of herself, that's a pretty big FML, because it's basically saying "today I realized I'm not as pretty as I want to be," or even "It's been so long since I've had someone that I felt like looking pretty for." I know I feel pretty gross when I realize I haven't been shaving for a while, because for me it's just a basic maintenance thing, not something I do "for" anyone but myself. So get off your high hairy horse and realize that your aesthetics are in the minority. OP... shaving also isn't that hard. Just go do it if you feel that bad about it.
@161 - My personal aesthetics are not really the issue at hand. I said "Whether or not a woman shaves should be completely up to her" for a reason. It shouldn't be a matter of what I like, or what society says. It should be a personal decision. At this point, it probably comes down to how we're reading the OP's post. It's really a big FML through either interpretation. Either as you said, she hasn't had anyone that she felt like looking pretty for, or as I read it, she is running into a social stigma regarding a personal choice. I know full well that my preference is in the minority. I only directly mentioned it as a means to support the OP. If, as I read it, she was dealing with the stigma, I wanted her to know that there are plenty of men out there who either don't care or even do prefer hair on a woman. It all comes back to this not needing to be an issue. Shouldn't we be judging people on who they actually are, rather than whether or not they prefer not to shave? If things are as you read them, then I grant that my post is off the mark.
Thats not an FML you dumbshit! Thats just being lazy! Have some damn respect for yourself!
ew hurl i used like some girls on here but not anymore. WHY cant you just buy a BRAUN ? this is why i have 6 girls in my life. they only have to shave when i come over. and yeah i like girls with no hair all over except on the head and brows.

Sooo... why don't you shave? I'm sorry, how is this an FML?
Christ, it has nothing to do with hygiene -- it's cultural norms. Men don't shave their legs, and it's not unhygienic. What are you, twelve?
