When my husband and i first moved in together his bed was a king and felt like sleeping on strip of beef jerky, mine a queen and soft as can be. He insisted we sleep on his since it was bigger and we both like our space. After many different mattress toppers etc i finally couldnt take it anymore and told him i will sleep on my comfy bed until we can get a new king mattress for the both of us. Within two weeks we were shopping for a new one. Just be honest with him, you might actually be surprised.
