Not only is this immature and stupid on many levels but in some aspects may even be considered abusive manipulative behavior. You're honestly putting your husband through a toxic relationship because you don't have the common sense to say "Hey, the spare bed is more comfortable than ours, we should switch it!"?

Sounds like you need to budget for new mattress or a nice topper for your current one. I sleep on the couch sometimes just because it gives me better back support but I'm 7 months pregnant.

You need to tell him that and apologize. Why, in the first place, didn't you just say "the mattress on the spare bed is more comfortable, can we get it for the main bed?"
