Today, I realized that my baby stops crying loudly whenever I turn on the vacuum cleaner. I'm either stuck with a fussy baby all day, or the roaring sound of a vacuum cleaner. FML

Did you consider that the baby doesnt stop crying, you just can't here it over the vacuum

Haha that sucks! I can't stand the sound of babies crying, it's annoying! But then the vacuum is a pretty annoying sound too. Couldn't you find something else to entertain the baby?

that is an actual symptom of calic? I would ask your doctor. also, if you're breast feeding stay away from dairy and spicy foods. the child may be unable to break down certain foods.

lmfao my nieces would cry out in fear whenever they heard the vacuum xD .....,..cool kid :-)

lol maybe the kid is trying to tell you something

your baby might have an ear infection. vacuum cleaners soothe fussy babies when their ears hurt.

YDI, this is what birth control, Plan B, and abortions are for.

"stuck with"??? Wow. you should ve thought twice before opening your legs. ytdi

Is it possible to "stop crying loudly"? I can understand how you can stop crying, but how can you do that loudly? ;) Think about it... "He walks quickly", "She stopped talking abruptly", "The baby stopped crying loudly" :D

You're thinking this through way too hard..

A possible solution is. Get a cheap CD player. Somehow record the vaccum noise and play it in the child's room. If it's really the noise stopping the crying that should make both of you happy.

that's totally normal. for some reason my brother was like that too when he was little. it's not uncommon.

Are you sure the baby stops crying, or does the vaccum just drown out the baby?
