Record it. Buy some small speakers to attach to the crib.
Try recording the sounds of the vacuum and play the recording beside the crib when she sleeps
Maybe find another white noise? A fan?
Great reason to clean the house :(
I'd go ahead and vacuum my whole house. That way I would have a clean house and quiet baby. :) win, win.
Babies in the womb are surrounded by the constant noise of mum's heartbeat, circulation & digestion. Suddenly they are born and it's silent! Vacuum cleaners and white noise in general are often soothing to babies. It's really not unusual.
I've heard that if you just ignore your baby's cries eventually they realize that it's not worth crying because your not coming. But idk I'm only 16.

Did you consider that the baby doesnt stop crying, you just can't here it over the vacuum
Haha that sucks! I can't stand the sound of babies crying, it's annoying! But then the vacuum is a pretty annoying sound too. Couldn't you find something else to entertain the baby?
