Same thing happened to me only it was my Grandmother and no pictures of my daughter. When I mentioned to my mother all the frames I had given to my grandmother with pictures of my daughter now had someone else's picture in them she didn't believe me. The next day my mother frantically went around her house and took pictures of my daughter to my Grandmothers home. Too little too late, I never took my daughter back over to see her great grandmother again.

I suppose it could be worse you know op. My paternal grandfather couldn't remember my name. He called me Kelsey, my name is Keira so it's not even close. I could see him trying to remember me. Granted we'd gone no more than five year in seeing each other. But I gotta give myself credit: I recognized them while I was in a parade and walked five blocks to go see them and the two cousins I did not know about until that day. Anyway, sorry, this is about you. Don't take it personally, grandparents have their favorites and even if you're not on that list, you're on someone else's list and that will count for something.
