There's something fishy going on here...

Next time put new fish in a medicine/quarantine tank for a few days if the fish look questionable, or if you didnt pick the fish out yourself and see the rest of the fish in that tank.

You can pretty clearly diagnose an Ich infected fish visually. As far as the tank full of dead fish, find out where they were bought from, go there and raise hell! Make a scene that they sell infected marine life and their fish will kill everything in your tank!

That's why you quarantine new fish in a separate tank for a least a week before adding them to your main tanks.

Poor fish. Most pet stores will have to compensate you in some way, so just show them the dead fish and explain it.

you need to question the person that bought you those fish.

I hope for your sake you didn't have any super expensive fish in your tank. If you did, and can prove the new fish came with a disease, I'd get the pet store to replace them! Is it a salt or fresh water tank?
