Call them at midnight and reassure them that you're fine. And again at 3am. And again at 5:30am.
I love this! XD
#9, I agree. but still. Fyl. what does OP stand for anyways?
My mother was the same way when I first moved out. She would call just about every 2 hours "just to check on me." If I didn't call her by 9 pm every night she would freak out. She did almost call the cops once. I had to have a long talk with her about letting me grow up and be responsible and that I would call her once to twice a day and that was it. Just talk to your parents.
Yes. PLEASE talk to them. I work at a university and we hate people like your parents. They waste an incredible amount of time. Many schools staff entire offices just to work with wackos like your mom and dad. If I ever find out who gave my personal cell phone number to a psychotic parent there will be hell to pay.
FYL and good luck with any relationships.
i saw a 2 hour movie with a friend of mine once and left my car in the driveway cuz he drove... when i got out of the movie theatres i had 30 missed calls and text messages from my mom, aunt, cousin, both sisters, my dad and 3 different friends all looking for me. it had only been 2 hours!! i was 22 years old! my mom even went to my best friends house to ask for me. needless to say i never went out with him again. lol
Seriously, be grateful your parents care.
That's parents for you. At least they are concerned about you, even though they over do it a little bit
[redundant]
oh god their very over protective
Sounds like how my mom will end up in 5 years.
