Honestly, you have such caring parents. I mean nevermind the world, take just Toronto for example. So many people go missing these days. The world is becoming so bad and mother nature is striking back hard. I think all evil should ****** die LETS LIVE A PEACEFUL LIFE FOR ONCE
Helicopter parents are such a joy. When I was at University for the first time, lo these many years ago, my dipshit psycho mother became CONVINCED the Green River Rapist must have "gotten me" because I failed to call one Sunday. Had I not happened to call a few days later, the moron nut-**** was going to start ranting to the FBI. The best part? I pointed out to Loony McWhacko the Green River Rapist was murdering drug ******. ONLY drug ******. NOTHING. BUT. DRUG. ******. Her response? "Well, he could have gotten you". Gee, thanks, bitch. I love you, too.
My parents did the exact same thing! Only they did call the police. And I had to hide my boyfriend in the closet while the police came to my door and asked me alot of questions. "Are you alive, miss?" "No, I'm just standing here from the realm of the undead talking to you idiots so my parents will get off my ass"
I ******* hate overprotective parents, they piss me off. FY/ML
I HOPE my parents won't be like this....
Listen, my mother is like this. On numerous occasions I have taken a nap in my dorm only to be woken up by campus security. My mother has to speak to me all day long. She calls in the morning to make sure I am up for class. She calls me on her lunch break. She calls me when she gets off work. She also calls me at night. The problem with this is I have started doing it to my boyfriend of 7 months. I worry about him constantly. I call him more than I should and if I dont get a text from him when he gets home at night then I worry. The result of parents like this is that it creates children just like them. It makes life then difficult for their children as well.
Tell them nicely that you appreciate their concern, but it's time for them to let go and let you live your own life
I Think that is quite funny but yeah, FYL
lol my parents are the exact same way!
At least they care.... Maybe too much.

Call them at midnight and reassure them that you're fine. And again at 3am. And again at 5:30am.
My mother was the same way when I first moved out. She would call just about every 2 hours "just to check on me." If I didn't call her by 9 pm every night she would freak out. She did almost call the cops once. I had to have a long talk with her about letting me grow up and be responsible and that I would call her once to twice a day and that was it. Just talk to your parents.
