Today, I received a Snapchat of a horse-drawn carriage version of a hearse. I replied, "That's so extra!" because I thought it was finals week at her school. Turns out, she's at her uncle's funeral. He was an officer in the Air Force and there's going to be a 21-gun salute in his honor. FML

Is "that's so extra" a new expression? I'm only 26 and already I feel old with lit, extra, basic, squad, fam, woke, live, and savage.

So, what does "that's so extra" actually mean?

This is why i hate random pics with no context. If i arrive at a wrong conclusion, that's on the sender. Send a description if you want a valid response.

I don't find any fault in what you did. She, first of all, shouldn't be snap chatting the pictures. I personally think it's disrespectful to the deceased. Secondly, she didn't use text to explain her random photo, so you couldn't have known. Don't even stress. Not your fault.

Welp there's your dick moment of the day.

The real FML here is that you say stuff like "that's so extra".

Its called a 3 volley salute a 21 gun salute uses cannons and is reserved fore extremely important people like the president
