Today, I received in the mail a hockey puck autographed by recent hall of fame addition Steve Yzerman. When asked, I had to explain to my 4 year old brother that someone famous had written his name on it. Later, I discovered that my brother decided it needed his name on it too. FML

im from the UK and adored Stevie Y...i would have lost it with my brother!...i have a signed sykora shirt and would gladly defend it with violence!!!! :)

I've learned valuable lessons like that, maybe not THAT valuable... the lesson is "Never show anything of any great importance to a 4 yr old. They will destroy it."

YDI for not explaining to him that it was special and also for not keeping it out of reach.

as long as his signature doesn't cover the original one. still that sucks

Man, Im on my iPod touch app. I hate the buttons. I accidentally said YDI twice now. FYL but come on, aren't autographs a little overrated?

YDI for not putting the puck somewhere safe when there's a 4 yr old around. Now you don't have to buy him a present when he turns 5. Just put your name on it too.

lemme guess? he wrote it in crayon

I have an Ovechkin puck that I got signed by him. If ANYONE touched that puck other than myself, I'd kill that person. You should make sure your brother never touches your things again. Especially since Stevie Y was badass and that puck could haveb een worth a lot of money in the long run.
