A good way to respond to his note is to write him back and say, "I knew you weren't good for it anyway. No worries though. I'll get someone to help you man up to do what you're supposed to do." and if he starts to threaten he can't touch you. You can even go to the cops before he even touches you if there are threats from him. And I'm sure if he wants to kill you you can remind him of the cleaning up process to dispose of any evidence that would lead to him... And if there are those reports of threats then no extensive cleaning can keep him clear of that. :)

I hope you or your child becomes very very financially successful, and that pos hears about it, and tries to slither back into your life. And you tell him off.
