Hey everyone, this is my FML! #15 got it closest... I've been working on this project for about 3 weeks with my group members, and I have definitely done my fair share of the work in that time. All of us met up the night before it was due to type it all up, put it together and double check everything, but I had to leave that meeting much earlier than everyone else. Hence, they forgot to put my name on it :/ Thanks, guys.... I contacted my professor as soon as I saw the grade, and my group backed me up and admitted that they made a mistake. I was SUPER scared and pissed off but it got resolved! We got an A-! :D

Considering you didn't put it on yourself, I'm starting to fell they didn't "forget".

Nice!
Awesome! Congrats on the A!
congratulations!
Glad it worked out that way.
I was scared that the group members won't backed you up glad they did
Well thank heavens for that!! Congrats on the A
So glad it got resolved! And congrats on the A, great stuff :-)
Lucky that you found out about the grade soon, if it had been in my university I wouldn't have noticed until I had alredy failed the course because usually professors don't notify you of your grade until quite a long time. Especially if it was a final project, then he wouldn't even notify the grade, you would just hope that you did good and whatever you got would be reflected on your final grade.
#38, a similar situation happened to me at my university. I got a final grade of 100 in a graduate course of mine, but the final grade on my transcript reflected a B. I wasn't notified of this mistake, but thankfully noticed when I went over my transcript. It was done by computer error and was quickly rectified.
Wait hold on a minute. Do we have an FML about college where the professor actually understands the mistake and fixes the grade, on our hands right now? This is unheard of!
Damn you're lucky. I had an Econ class taught by one of the sports coaches. We had to work in groups for this stock market game four of us said (we should X) 1 of us said (we should do Y) he was outvoted but was also the one we sent up to put in the info what we didn't know was while he was totally agreeing with our decisions in the group he would put in what he wanted. The group got an F. Oh wait I am sorry he was on the coach's basketball team he got an A it was just the rest of us that got the assignment right that got Fs.
They "forgot"
Agreed. I mean I do the same (grab final reporting...turning in...whatever just so that doesn't happen ;) ) BUT maybe OP pissed someone off and they thought it'd be funny....who knows really what happened. I also agree that IF they did do the work the professors are usually cool with asking others in the group about those whos contributions were made or NOT made accordingly. I mean they're all adults so I'd hope no one wants to purposely screw someone out of a grade.....ESPECIALLY IF THEY DID WORK on the project. I mean if OP was a lazy ass then carry on ;)
geez, just READING that gave me anxiety. Glad you got it resolved, OP
How could you forget ? Regardless I'm sure you can email the teacher and clear up the situation, get one of the students to back you up.
Refer to comment #18. Read the follow up.
Glad this had a happy ending
It sounds like you're that type that let's the group do everything in a group project
Did you even read the follow-up that's posted?

Why didn't you put your name on? If it was that large of a grade then I would have double and triple checked that my name was on it.
Maybe you should have put your name on it? Sounds like you left important details for the rest of the group to complete. Group works about all working together
