Today, I returned to work after a much-needed vacation. I got a lot of weird stares from my co-workers, and my boss eventually came over and told me to go home. Why? My work week starts tomorrow, not today. FML

How is it a bad thing, hmm, let me see... She gets up (probably pretty early) gets ready for work, goes to work, gets a load of "WTF" stares, gets weirded out by said stares, then does a bunch of work for who knows how long before being embarrassed and told to leave by her boss. I'd say that's just a liiiittttllleeee shitty, even if she does have the rest of the day to herself.

I'd say it was a bit embarrassing, but it could have been worse. My thought before I finished reading the FML was that the OP had been sacked whilst on holiday and the "WTF" stares were because of that. Unless of course, the OP worked until 4:00pm and was told to go home then. That would be an FML.

I'm not disputing that it could've been worse or that it's not the end of the world, but the same can be said for any FML. It's funny. Damn. What happened to enjoying these shitty happenings instead of being annoying and lecturing the OP? Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine.

Okay, people, I will do you all a favor and save you the trouble of asking the same damn questions over and over again. OP says "FML". Why? Maaaaybe it's because OP had to go all the way to work in order to find out? Or maybe OP had already had enough vacation time and was ready to go back to work? Or maybe OP felt embarrassed? Edit: Ignore this comment, I though you were a blue star. Hey OP, I have a question. Why would you get weird stares from your coworkers just b.c you came back a day early? If it were my work place they would assume I was back early, and welcome me back. They wouldn't just cat stare at me the entire time, you know the one, until my boss told me to leave. It all just seems a little shady to me.
