I think you're missing the point, all of you, and it has nothing to do with sexuality. OP here was checking these girls out because she thought they were hot. How come because she's a lesbian, she's fair game? She's just as bad as a straight man leering at a hot young girl. So she DID deserve the yelling.

Oh ye gods, I've had to deal with that at work (call center). I was trying to get ahold of some woman so I asked for Mr or Mrs. So-and-So, and the woman who answered the phone said "MS so-and-so isn't available, and there IS no Mr. So-and-So. You shouldn't judge" and proceeded to rant at me for about fifteen minutes...the entire time I was trying really hard not to tell her to can it because I'm queer too. -_- Frustrating.
