I'm not sure how you expected that to turn out any differently. Of course she'd point you out. How else would he know who gave him the number?

Can't say I understand the logic.. You don't want to bother him while he's with his family..so you bother his family. And, as others pointed out, how else would he know who you were unless she pointed you out? Honestly, someone getting someone else to be a middleman isn't very attractive, but that may just be me.

I find this more strange rather than just bluntly flirting in front of his family.
