Today, I saw an elderly man struggling to make it across a busy street. I jumped up from my table at Starbucks to help him, leaving my things behind. When I got back to my table feeling good, I found that my coffee had disappeared. So had my wallet. FML

Wallet comes out of pocket, u pay for coffee, then wallet goes straight back into pocket

You TOTALLY deserved this. Don't get me wrong, it was nice of you to help out the old man, but why did you just leave your wallet on the table? Why didn't you immediately put it away once you finished paying for your drink?

YDI for not keeping track of your stuff!

Wow, even though you kinda did it to yourself, I wouldn't really say that you deserve it, OP.

She totally deserves it, why would she not keep her wallet in her purse like everyone else? How did you actually HELP the old guy? By making him feel like shit that he can't cross the street by himself? Or by holding his hand while he walks... It's a stupid thing you did and you deserve it!

YDI: #1 For not putting your items away, i mean cmon why rush for a complete stranger. and #2 why help him anyway. Goodie idiot!

Yeah, like everyone else has said kudos for trying to help the old man, but your wallet really should not have been out in the first place. You pay, and it goes back in your pocket or purse (and in the latter case, you don't leave your purse laying around either).

YDI for leaving your wallet out. Props for helping the old dude tho.

Some people are so rude. You shouldn't have left your stuff there like that, especially your wallet, but whoever stole your wallet shouldn't have been douchebaggy enough to do it.

you SHOULD stop being SO KIND ! lol I mean dnt leave ur stuffs there nd expect to find them =)

People will say that you deserve it for leaving your stuff their, which is kind of true... But it still really sucks that someone stole your stuff while you were helping someone out.

Why is this always happening to people that are helping elderly people in need? [/sarcasm]
