How embarrassing for you. Maybe you shouldn't be in Girls Gone Wild if you don't enjoy your friends and family knowing about it.

Absolutely YDI - if you're gonna be in GGW or any kind of ****, expect it to be a known fact. It gets even worse once you start looking for jobs if somehow your real name becomes associated with it.

So she gave you enough time off from totally beating your ass to post this?

The only reason that I'm not automatically saying YDI is because there have been a ton of lawsuits about GGW illegally filming and using people in their publicity materials whom they have never gotten consent from. And that lawsuit where they knowingly drove two sixteen year girls around to another city, plied them with alcohol and wouldn't take them back until they signed agreeing to be in the video.

yeah, if thats like saying that a black out drunk guy who rapes a girl doesnt deserve the charges. only not nearly as extreme a scenario. the point is, if you get drunk to that point, whatever you do afterwords is entirely your fault, and you deserve every consequence of your actions, regardless. if your too stupid to NOT sign a release form, then yes, you deserve it completely and 100 percent. so STFU

However, you can't give consent while inebriated, that is what people are saying. For example if a sober guy has sex with an inebriated girl and he knows she is inebriated, it is considered rape. If they didn't have laws like this, guys would be slipping stuff into girls drinks left and right. The same goes for signing consent forms, you can't give consent to being filmed unless you are sober. I'm not saying she is innocent, just that GGW isn't exactly known for their fair and law-abiding business practices.

people already do that. not having a law against it wouldn't make it any more common or uncommon. either you're a scumbag who would drug a girl to get laid, or you're a decent human being and you wouldn't. simple as that

and, for anyone who misinterpreted what i said here before, a girl does not deserve to be raped, under any circumstance whatsoever. but if the guy's excuse for doing it was that he was 'just way too drunk' to control himself, that does not excuse his actions, and he still deserves to be imprisoned for a very long time. my point also was, that given that same context, you can't excuse yourself for doing something because you were drunk. and the consequences are still the same. (also, i don't think the Op was looking for sympathy, just to make us all laugh at a kodak moment between her and her mother.)

I think that if there were no law against using substances to drug a girl into consent it would be far more common.

No, a guy having sex with a girl he knows is drunk is not rape - a guy having sex with a girl who passed out from drinking too much is rape because she's unconcious, but if she gets trashed then jumps him, that's not rape that's her being stupid drunk. This FML is UDI because it's simply another case of "My parents found out about something embarrassing that I did" - It's not like a group of guys in ski masks grabbed her off the street, shoved her in a van, tied her up and forced alchohol down her throat, then stripped her naked and turned on a video camera.

i somehow suspect that you're sexually excited at the thought of that happening. you sir, are shallow and pedantic.

You should have expected that if you were going to be in something like that, that there was a possibility that your clip would be in the commercials, especially if you signed a release form (if not, then it's a slightly different story, and you should file a lawsuit, but even just in doing the video you're putting yourself in a spot that you should have figured might bite you in the ass someday). If you don't want people to find out, don't do it in the first place, because eventually they WILL find out.
