The only way I could see the father assuming that the OP was giving him both tickets were if the OP had little interest in baseball and the father and his other son loved baseball. No matter what the original circumtances were, once the father realized that his son (the OP) wanted to go with him to the game, he shouldn't have called him selfish. If the father wants to go to that game that badly with his other son, he can buy his own damn tickets and take him.

Hank (OP), if you like baseball then go with someone that you would enjoying being there with. If you don't really care about going after this, try to sell the tickets and buy something for yourself.
