OP follow up prediction: our lives are going great now. It totally opened up our relationship. Literally and figuratively. We caught about it at first, but we've learned to be open with each other. I don't understand what's so hard about not cheating. If you wanna be fkin with someone other than your significant other then you should break up and then be with the person you do want to be with. There's never a nice way to dump someone but I'll tell ya, after having been cheated on and having cheated on someone else, I'd rather a guy break up with me (or me break up with a guy) instead of cheating on me (or me on them). If I wanna be fkin a different guy than I'm with, that's when I know it's time to end things and then pursue the person I want instead. There's no point in staying with someone you can't stand, aren't attracted to in anyway, or you no longer love/like the person. it's a waste of both parties' time and effort. Not to mention how much effort it takes to conceal the betrayal and always have it weighing on your conscience.
