at least he didn't throw it out
YDI, you should know that guys don't appreciate that kind of stuff.
bah it's never worth the time, in my experience. i always made my boyfriend cookies and cards and collages and stuff (since i'm always broke) but he didn't get me a christmas, birthday, or one year anniversary ANYTHING, not even a card. we're broken up now haha. but i can understand putting that much effort into something to have it turned into scraps.
It's pretty simple. Did your dad ever want that present you drew or made by hand? No, but your mom loved it right? Usually its the girls that are sentimental and it's the thought that counts. I am assuming you are in HS right?
Id be pissed off. Im an artist who can make pop up cards and those takes hours and dedication and time (blahblah). I understand how you'd feel and to all those jerks who says ydi, f them bc they obviously don't care about cards and sentimental stuff. You're awesome for caring that much
At least he's going to see it all the time. He could've waited until you were gone to toss it in the dustbin, but he's actually keeping it. He'll see it every time he puts his cup of coffee on it. On another note, if this is the only thing making you say FML, you're one lucky bitch to have it so good. Believe me, you could be going through more trouble than your boyfriend not liking your card. Boo hoo.
Dump the dick.
What the hell people, not all men are emotionless shitbags. Stop using your dick as an excuse for being a terrible person.

When someone does that kind of shit with stuff I make, I stop caring about getting them anything special. Next time just grab a card and sign it, since he doesn't seem to care. By the way, don't print out colored paper just to cut out. Go out and buy construction paper, it's cheaper.
What a jerk. Even if he's not into the sentimentality of cards or whatever, he should at least show some appreciation for you and your effort.
