bah it's never worth the time, in my experience. i always made my boyfriend cookies and cards and collages and stuff (since i'm always broke) but he didn't get me a christmas, birthday, or one year anniversary ANYTHING, not even a card. we're broken up now haha. but i can understand putting that much effort into something to have it turned into scraps.

It's pretty simple. Did your dad ever want that present you drew or made by hand? No, but your mom loved it right? Usually its the girls that are sentimental and it's the thought that counts. I am assuming you are in HS right?

Id be pissed off. Im an artist who can make pop up cards and those takes hours and dedication and time (blahblah). I understand how you'd feel and to all those jerks who says ydi, f them bc they obviously don't care about cards and sentimental stuff. You're awesome for caring that much

#66, my dad was the one that would hang up my art and cards, in fact, almost all of my art is still hung up in his room. My mom on the otherhand never really cared for my art. Some guys like getting cute, crafty things, some don't.
