Today, I spent all day organizing a list of electronic parts for my boss. I found the easiest way was to color problem parts in the spreadsheet red and okay parts green. After I finished at the end of the day, I found out my boss is red-green colorblind. FML

How about a column where you put "Good" or "Problem"? Then you can sort the spreadsheet by that column. And if you really want colors, you can sort the spreadsheet by good/problem and apply/change the colors in 2 seconds. Then you change back to the default sort.

Uh...a macro would fix that in like, 2 seconds. Unless you used conditional formatting, in which case you could fix it in 0.2 seconds. My husband is color blind and sheets that have green and red really close together confuse him, but seriously, this is not an FML.

haha, it seems like a coincedence but its true! lol, my dad is the same way

if you did this in a spreadsheet it should take about 1 minute to fix it...

What are the chances of that happening?

I'd just underline the red(or Green) Parts and them he should be ok

No-one said he could drive, and if he does, he would have just learnt the position of the red/green lights.

Fair play to you for having some ingenuity OP, I wouldn't sweat it too much unless it is a really serious form of R/G Colour Blindness then he should be able to distinguish shades of colours :)

easy fix, just rehighlight using different colors
