Easy fix... not an FML. IMO
Not necessarily fake. I have a friend who's red/green colorblind and he has a really hard time distinguishing between the two. He can't play call of duty well because he can't tell if someone's name is red or green, so he can't tell if they're on his team or not. Either way though, it's an easy enough fix.
The only way a female can be colour blind is if her father is, and her mother carries the gene (ie, from her father). True story. Google that shit.
@60 you said from a distance you cant tell the difference well no duh the samething happens trying to read at a distance. the paper is right fcking in front of him. im sure he can see the difference. and the default red and green used in this spreadsheet are probably significant.
so? the red ones and the green ones will still look different - in shade and blah blah blah - not going to be technical ect. But i'm damn sure your boss is not thick enough to not understand what will be good or bad. and i'm damn sure he can also differenciate between the two different colours.
@62 You're damn sure a red-green colorblind person can tell the differance between red and green? So are you damn sure a blind person can see you waving to them? F your life
dont organize by color. make a column to define the type of part. use a conditional format on the part to color it based on the new column. hide the new coluumn. coloring a whole row doesnt always make it useful. if you have to send it in a previous version to someone it will make it unsortable. it illustrates your lack of expertise. you should get a book.

Or you could just select by color, and then change it. Shouldn't take longer then 15 seconds if you know where to look. Only if you colored it by hand, wait then your just an idiot.
Really, what are the odds? A simple mistake, I doubt he'll bold it against you.

How about a column where you put "Good" or "Problem"? Then you can sort the spreadsheet by that column. And if you really want colors, you can sort the spreadsheet by good/problem and apply/change the colors in 2 seconds. Then you change back to the default sort.
ironic. Utterly ironic!
