Today, I spilt boiling tea all over my stomach and left leg, so I went to the hospital to get it checked out. They said I wouldn't be able to expose it to the sun for the next two months. I'm going to Barbados tomorrow. FML

Just wear a one-piece (if you're a girl)! If you're a guy, just keep a t-shirt on. it's not that bad. You can still have fun :D

The doctors have a reason for things. They don't prescribe you or advise you just to make your life harder. I don't see why anyone would thumb your comment up.

Shit, that sucks. Going to Barbados is still awesome though.

#6- it can't be exposed to the sun because it's a burn, which generally take off a few layers of skin and hurt like hell OP- i once did that to my foot, only burnt about half my foot and it was agony, i have sooo much sympathy for you, i really cannot imagine the amount of pain you're in right now you poor thing

i know a girl who got 3rd degree burns on her leg and just wrapped it with bandages and why no sun?

oh, and #36- you're a wanker. they used the right form of 'to' every time except one, which makes it seem as if it may have just been a typo and they accidently held the 'o' button down for too long ******* grammar nazis, who gives a shit, honestly. not everybody is brilliant at english, why make them feel bad for it? do you mock people who don't understand maths or science or find history a bit difficult? (oh and for all those about to say 'it's math, not mathS', i'm from australia and that's how we say it here) /endrant

Wrap a scarf/coverup around your waist.

Light jeans, perhaps? Heck, even some god bandages should do the trick! I don't see why it should ruin your trip, unless you were going down there just to tan, in which case, this actually saved your trip (I mean, honestly, it isn't like the burn can't keep you from swimming. Unless you can't stand pain, that it :P)
