Today, I started my first day of work at my new job. They had a section in the parking lot for employees only, so I parked there. Apparently, my boss didn't recognize my car, and had it towed. FML

Today, I accidentally towed my new employee's car because I didn't recognize it. FML

Your boss is an idiot. He should have asked you if that was your car or not before he had it towed.

Walk on water, heal the sick, make blind people see. You know, the norm.

Since it was your first day I wouldn't expect the boss to recognize your car. I would however expect that he would check to find out if said unknown car belongs to his newly hired employee before having it towed. FYL OP, hopefully your boss pays for the towing/storage fees. I don't know what to tell you if he refuses beyond maybe talk to your bosses boss (assuming he has one) otherwise I guess you'll be S.O.L.

Then he flicked boogers at you.

Sucks OP but you should have asked about parking when you reported to work. Live and learn.

Why should she have asked? She is an employee, She parked in the employee parking lot. There doesn't seem a whole lot to discuss there. It's very, very, very, rare that you get a sticker or something for your car if you don't work in a huge office of some kind. The boss should have considered the possibility that the unknown car belonged to his new hire and asked her before having the car towed.
