Today, I started my period. I am getting married tomorrow. So, not only am I going to be on my period for my wedding night and honeymoon, my best friend has to help me change my pad because my dress is so big. FML

that's why you go on birth control so that you can use it to safely delay or skip your period. it's part of wedding planning 101.

It likes to come at the worst possible moments. This is going to sound gross but, if you and your new husband want to do the deed, use a female condom. And hey, at least you know your bestfriend is a true friend!

This is one of my worst fears too...but that's why whenever I have my wedding I want to keep my period at the back of my mind so I can plan to have the wedding when I know I'm safe. That sucks though.

Oh man, this sucks SO much :( a true FML... and #11, even if you plan around it, the stress and likely change in eating/activities can cause it to come sooner.

sucks but why didnt you schedule your wedding to a date that you arent on your period...? or are you not regular? and still using pads and no birth control pills?

It doesn't matter if the OP uses pads or tampons! I use pads, my mom uses pads. You don't necessarily have 12 periods a year, hell I go three months without getting mine, then surprise, it's here!
