I have a $400 Blackberry from AT&T. Insurance costs $3 a month. If anything happens to it, I can get a new Blackberry for $125, no questions asked. Totally YDI for not getting insurance, or from buying from a store that doesn't offer insurance.

That's stupid too to pay $400 for a phone and then $125 for a replacement one if it breaks. You know what a smarter thing to do is? Buy a cheaper phone cuz those don't break and even if they do, you can buy a new one for under $100 and it still won't add up to half of what you paid for the original phone. People are so stupid w/ cell phones these days. And then they wonder why they have no money...

@34, Smartphones are expensive, from 400-800 dollars. The only reason you can get them for like 99 dollars is because you sign your soul over to the companies on the contracts.

#44: I don't know where you live, but in the United States, you pretty much HAVE to sign a contract to get a cell phone, unless you want some shitass prepaid phone. A Blackberry should never cost you $400.. they are super cheap these days and everyone and their mom has one. And honestly, do you REALLY think the MSRP listed for these phones is for real? Of course it isn't; it's overinflated so that they can give you 'discounts' and 'rebates' so that they can make you feel like you got a good deal.
