so what's the problem? he's the one that's in deep shit, at least in my country you can go to jail for that, so you can ask him for cash, a lot of it.

Some of these comments are quite ignorant, but I have to agree with those who hate drivers who stop at yellow lights. The key is to safely stop. If you are at the line when turns yellow you should not slam on your brakes, have the driver (who could very well be two car lengths behind you) behind you slam into your car, and watch two or three cars in the next lane pass safely through the light. What is important to note is whether you are located in a place with a delayed light change or not. If you are past the line before the light turns red then on a delayed light change system you can safely pass through the intersection.

Especially during rush hour traffic, it is those "safe drivers" who stop suddenly at yellow lights who cause accidents. People are trying to get home from a long day at work and don't want to sit at every single stop light along the way. They will try to get through the light and you might get rear ended if u suddenly stop.

sure thats bad, not as bad as my case. I bought a brand new 2010 nissan maxima se yesterday, today a mexican lady with no insurance or drivers license rammed into my ass at 35 miles an hour, not only did my two friends that were in the car decided to go to the hospital, but my insurance rates are going up, plus the value of the car is now decreased plus my warranty is no longer valid, now tell me that doesn't suck. I mean it drives but its pretty badly hit, since it was the back, the trunk is really ******. It sucks for her more though, since I'm in pre law Im mostly aware of what she's gona have to do, oh yea shes not legal in this country, she begged me to not call the cops, but who the **** wouldnt when i looked at her car she obviously wouldn't be able to cover the damage herself. I got the estimate today for the fix at 5430 with everything, yea it would take her years to pay that and i asked a friend to pull me a favor and check her taxes, she makes 23000 thousand a year, how the **** would she pay, plus she didn't speak english and i don't speak spanish, so i wasn't able to make any payment arrangments. FHL and FML for my cars value decreasing on the first day of purchase.
