Honestly, if people need someone else to remind them it's mother's day or father's day tomorrow then they have issues. No kid should ever forget something as important as that. If you needed a reminder, use your smartphones or mark it on your calendars (heck some calendars already have them marked) and not expecting your friend to text you and remind you. Obviously, you don't ******* care enough to begin with.
