Today, I thought it would be a good idea to declare my love to the girl I have a crush on. I guess I shouldn't have gone and kissed her without warning, because now my face is covered with slap marks, and I had to explain myself at the police station for sexual harassement. FML

I think it's like #56 said - he had some fantasy in mind and decided to express it by kissing her, but it backfired. I think this kind of thing would work in some fantasy/fairytale setting but, unfortunately for OP, reality is neither of those. Next time OP should tell or at least hint that he likes a girl. If he actually knows that said girl feels the same, it might work. (I think the problem here was that, even though he liked her, he didn't know if she liked him). (I don't think OP has a chance with the same girl either. Or any of her friends now too. She's probably warned them all about him - which sucks for OP, because I don't believe he meant any harm.)

what is it with people DECLARING THEIR LOVE to CRUSHES?! it's aggressive, unfair, and really puts the person you supposedly like in an extremely uncomfortable position. Think about how the other person might feel for once instead and take it slow, by simply asking the person to get coffee with you.
