Today, I told my boyfriend about how a few years ago I had cancer, and how I underwent radiation therapy. His response? "Did you glow in the dark?" FML

If you can't joke about cancer what can you joke about? And I believe with cancer it's called remission not healing up. Because it can always come back

If you can't laugh at it, it wins. Furthermore, it is hard to be emotionally invested and "supportive" of a medical event that was resolved years before you met someone.
