Today, I told my boyfriend his shirt and pants did not match and that he should change for dinner. All my belongings are now on the sidewalk. FML

looks like he thought your belongings didn't match his house

I always trust a girls sense of fashion. lol. They typically know what they are talking about.

wow what a loser maybe you should get a man instead of a boy who ain't grown up yet and yes men can match clothes for all y'all who think we can't y'all are the di

Lol my bf does the same. He wanted to go 2 the movies in pj pants. His argument was "they have pockets". Men just dont get it hun.

should have not said it like that, but rather pick something out already and say "oh hon, would you wear this to dinner? you look so good in it, and it makes me want your ass!" (ass wanting optional) Telling him to just change makes his ego shrink because you say he's bad at looking ok. Telling him he looks good in something makes it grow, because he is super sexy and you desire it.

Its his fashion sense, not yours. Unless the place has a dress code, let him dress how he wants

Lol. U must have said it too much. Im on his side. Stop bitching him out. Chill a bit. Who cares. If ur too shallow to go out with a guy without matching clothes then it's ur own problem.

You sound bossy. And annoying. You are his girlfriend and not his mother. And he is probably a grown man who can be trustes with dressing himself.

I don't know why everyone is assuming you were being absolutely unreasonable. The only reason I could imagine telling my s/o to change before dinner is if he was wearing something hideous and inappropriate. Ex: a blue plaid shirt shirt and burbary cargo shorts with neon colored tennis shoes : worst outfit i could possibly imagine lol). you probably could have said it in a nicer way but no one should react to criticism by throwing you out on your ass.

I need to know a little more here. Does OP have OCD? If not, then it's YDI.
