And this is why you think about the possibility of pregnancy before opening your legs and *******, even if you use protection. Because there are only two 100% sure methods of birth control: proper sterilization, and keeping your legs shut. And this is also why you DISCUSS the possibility of children with your significant other before *******. Because shit happens. If you've never in your entire relationship sat down together and discussed "what if we got pregnant", you're an idiot. Scenario 1 You never discussed the possibility of pregnancy before ******* your brains out (or you considered the possibility in an abstract "it'll never happen to us" way and clung to the hope that protection would never fail). YDI. Scenario 2 You discussed it, but he's a douchebag. FYL. Scenario 3 Your boyfriend isn't the only man you're doing the Sit 'n Spin on, and he's smart enough to figure out that he ain't the daddy. YDI. Considering current society and collective morals/values, I'm leaning towards scenario 1. Scenario 3 possibly if you're the type that I see on the Maury Show.

Though I sympathize and did not click YDI, I would like to point out that there are a few things that EVERYBODY should do before having sex with ANYONE. 1. What birth control will you be using? 2. What is your sexual history, including STDs? 3. What will we do in the case of a pregnancy? I am not assuming you weren't safe, like many others here are. Nor do I think it's your fault--he's as responsible for birth control methods as you are, even if you weren't safe. But, these are things that should have been discussed BEFOREHAND, not once something popped up!
