Ignore all of the haters OP, it takes a real man to dare to challenge gender stereotypes and I have a lot of admiration for you. The whole idea of a women taking her husband's name is a hold-out from the days when it was pretty much a sign of ownership, nowadays most people do it out of tradition; Not that I have any issue with the tradition, but as it doesn't hold the same connotation as it use to, their is no reason a man can't take his wife's name.
It's your life, do what you want. Or don't. It's not up to me.
In this day and age, why are people even concerned with your choice? There's all kinds of options for name-changing after marriage now.
